What is it that The Playground Gym does?
Simply put, The Playground Gym strives to make healthy, happy, active kids. Children learn faster and more completely when they are curious, entertained and involved. Performance through play is our motto, and by using creative games and physical play we aim to bridge the gap between emotional health, intellectual achievement and physical development. Please take some time to find out more about us on our About page.
Can non-members come to the gym?
Absolutely! In fact, The Playground Gym doesn’t have “members” in the traditional sense. We are a resource for Portland area families and we love visitors, offering class drop-ins and Open Play times most days of the week. There are always experienced coaches present during these times to help you and your child to have the best time possible in a safe environment. There is no other facility quite like The Playground Gym in the Portland area, and the Open Play are a great way to experience it for yourself. Times and costs can be found HERE.
Where can I find a waiver of liability?
You can download a pdf of the gym waiver HERE.
Where do I park?
The Playground Gym fronts on Grand Ave., but our parking lot is across the street from the Convention Center, behind the gym. Access is off MLK Blvd. See the map:
