Explorers: Play. Learn. Grow.

(Ages 12 months-3.5 years old)

Our youngest kids grow by leaps and bounds. Seriously!  Parents tell us that our no-fluff program is unmatched in the area and we tend to agree. Our facility offers a fun environment that provides sensory stimulation, body awareness and problem solving opportunities like no other in the area. And the good news is that it doesn’t stop there. Every study on the matter points to a direct link between physical and cognitive development. Without a doubt, kids who start out active tend to remain active as they age, perform better in school and mature into happier adults. Here you can jump start your child’s development and provide a solid foundation for them during their first years.

During an Explorers class participants will develop new skills on our gymnastics equipment, play physical mini-games, problem solve, engage in early socialization and cognitive exercises, and reach their developmental milestones! This class is dynamic and activities are presented to engage your child but this class requires parents to be active, involved and hands-on with their child. Together you’ll work on developing motor, cognitive and social skills while having the time of their life. With your guidance, your child will gain new skills, meet new challenges, explore their world and push boundaries with confidence and curiosity.

Explorers Class will:

• - Increase physical strength, coordination and flexibility
• - Encourage socialization skills like sharing and taking turns
• - Develop independence, curiosity and creativity
• - Encourage your child’s self-expression and access to language
• - Increase spatial awareness, perceptual development and concept attainment
• - Cultivate cooperation, teamwork and direction taking.
• - Prepare participants for pre-school and kindergarten
• - Introduce participants to new challenges, skills, people and places
• - Be you and your kiddo’s favorite place to come!

Explorers is unlike any other parent & child class around–we assume you can sing songs and blow bubbles at home and really push the envelope of your child’s abilities. Come visit us at The Playground Gym, try a free class and witness the results for yourself. This is the place to have more fun!

Times

Explorers is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30 and 10:30.

Price

$68/month for two classes a week. $46/month for one class a week. Add unlimited Open Play for $15.
